Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Start your safari adventure with a morning meeting with your guide. Hop into your 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser and head toward Tarangire National Park, where you'll be greeted by expansive savannahs, iconic baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River. This area is renowned for its wildlife, with elephants, giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests often seen gathering by the river. Keep an eye out for the elusive fringe-eared oryx or the striking gerenuk. Buffalo, zebras, and wildebeests roam the plains, attracting predators like lions. Your open-roof safari vehicle offers the perfect vantage point to take in the surroundings. In the afternoon, you'll head to the Sangaiwe Tented Lodge, your home for the night, ready for the next exciting leg of your journey.

2

Day 2: Tarangire Area – Serengeti National Park

Today’s adventure takes you past the beautiful Lake Manyara and into the fertile Ngorongoro Highlands. After crossing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll arrive at the vast Serengeti National Park by early afternoon. This renowned park is home to the Big Five – elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, and rhino – along with countless other species. Enjoy multiple game drives in the coming days, each offering unique wildlife sightings. Your accommodation for the next three nights is at Kati Kati Tented Camps, strategically located based on the season. Depending on your travel dates, you’ll stay in either the central, northern, or southern Serengeti for an unforgettable safari experience.

3

Day 3 - 4: Serengeti National Park

These two days are dedicated entirely to exploring the Serengeti. With your guide, you’ll have ample time to observe the wildlife in this stunning park. The Serengeti is the third largest park in Tanzania, and its landscape varies from open grasslands in the south to woodlands and hills in the north and west. Along with the Masai Mara, it plays host to the famous Great Migration of wildebeests and zebras – one of nature's most incredible spectacles. Your base will be Kati Kati Tented Camps, and your route and camp locations will be chosen to maximize your chances of witnessing this epic migration.

4

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, you'll continue your Serengeti safari, possibly catching a predator hunt in the Seronera Valley, where animals congregate at water sources during the dry season. After a picnic lunch, you'll begin your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you’ll be treated to spectacular views of the caldera. This UNESCO World Heritage Site spans about 20 kilometers and is home to over 20,000 animals. Spend the night at Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp, perched on the crater rim, offering breathtaking views, especially at sunset.

5

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Rise early for a memorable descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. This is the largest unbroken caldera in the world, teeming with wildlife. Expect to see zebras, wildebeests, and the rare black rhino, along with hyenas, waterbucks, and over 500 species of birds. After an exciting game drive and a picnic lunch, you’ll leave the crater and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening to conclude your safari.
