Timing, cost, and altitude. Ask the Moshi team for a proposal rather than a fixed price.
The drier months often used for Kilimanjaro are January to early March and June to October. January–March is usually quieter, while June–October is cooler and busier. Weather still varies by year, so ask the Moshi team about your dates.
Supplied Kilimanjaro route rates are published per person and change with group size. The source does not set a separate price for every day count. Safari figures on the new lodge safaris are shown for the selected number of travelers, and the source does not label those as per person. Operation Kilimanjaro confirms the trip before any deposit. Longer routes give more time to acclimatize.
Altitude is the main challenge on Kilimanjaro. Comfort depends on acclimatization time, pacing, hydration, and the guidance of the local team. Longer published routes such as Lemosho or the Northern Circuit allow more time to acclimatize. Ask the team how a climb is staffed before you decide.
